Fur identification

I picked up this lovely coat at an estate sale and was wondering if anyone could tell if that is real fur and what it is. Thanks!

Deborah knows this too but the union label dates it to sometime between 55-63.

Closer dating for your coat based on the style is probably somewhere between 58-62.

Supreme is not a well known name to me and tough to research due to the word being so common but it's either the coat designer's name or the fabric maker's name.
