Fur jacket

Hi, someone gave us a multi-colored or multi-furred jacket with a little leather trim at waist and cuffs, I'm guessing 1980s/early 90s, with only a Saks Fifth Avenue tag and no other information. I do not really like real fur, and would like to sell it. How do I learn if it is real fur and its approximate value? I am getting pics to post...

Can you rip a small section of the lining hem? Fur and fake fur are very different on the undersides. Fur is a skin; fake fur is a fabric.
