I concur with Cinthia that the fur is mink.
Part on the label says consumer protection. That wording ensured consumers that the furs sold to them would be the actual fur type stated through the fur product labeling act which was established in 1952.
Then in 1956 more assurance was added by including the fur label authority label which additionally ensured that fur garments were manufactured under fair labor standards.
With that information the oldest your stole can date be would be 1956. I would date it to the 60s though.
