Fur questions

I have been trying to do some research on a vintage mink fur pant length coat. On the tag it has "Autumn Haze" (registered trademark) by EMBA (registered trademark). It also says that it is "natural - mutation mink". Which I am assuming has to do w/the light brown/blonde color of the fur. I have been unable to find another coat like it on-line. The lining is intact, with what appears to be hand embroidery. Also, the coat belonged to my fiancee's birth mother and it has her name also (which appears to be) hand embroidered. I haven't been able to find any information on EMBA or Autumn Haze specifically. My fiancee would also like an idea of what it might be worth. Any information you could offer would be greatly appreciated, or if there is someone else I should contact, could you let me know?
Thank you very much.

Thats an interesting tag. I thought normally autumn haze was a color of mink...a semi desirable color at that. Looks like in this case it's a natural brown color and that is the designer. I did a quick Ebay search and this item number 9313008926 is an ad for that brand of mink. I thought that was neat. As far as price thats a hard one...Condition greatly affects prices. Any shedding, oxidization or tares will make it craft quality.
I also found a couple of completed auctions on ebay for this brand of coat; 8407620110 being one of them.

I had an Autumn Haze Mink that I ended up keeping, but through research I found and copied this little tid bit.

American Legend Cooperative is a marketing company owned by member North American mink ranchers. American Legend™ mink is recognized around the world for its unsurpassed quality. Today, American Legend promotes 9 trademark labels, representing the clear, rich, natural colors of North American mink.

Only the finest quality mink can receive American Legend trademark status. American Legend member ranchers possess the experience and knowledge critical for understanding the complexities of achieving product excellence.

American Legend was formed in 1986 through a merger of two well-known and highly respected fur farmer organizations. The Great Lakes Mink Association (GLMA) and the Mutation Mink Breeders Association (EMBA) combined their resources to form American Legend.

The Great Lakes Mink Association (GLMA) was formed in 1941 by a group of pioneering mink ranchers living in the Great Lakes region of the United States. Through extensive research and determination, these enterprising fur ranchers developed a unique strain of perfect black mink. Trademarked as Blackglama®, this mink is the world's finest natural dark mink. Blackglama® is the richest, deepest, most lustrous dark mink with the lightest, most flexible leather. Blackglama® is the standard that all black mink is measured against.

The following year, a group of ranchers who specialized in the production of unique mutation breeds of mink formed the Mutation Mink Breeders Association (EMBA). Through genetic management, EMBA breeders developed a series of natural clear bright colors. Superior color and quality represent the distinguishing characteristics of American Legend™ mink.
