Fur trimmed suit - date help please.

There was once a label on this suit - sadly, all that remain are the threads that held it. The jacket is lined in a silk crepe and the skirt is lined in acetate.
The skirt has a metal side zip that says "snag prue" (could not find any info) and it has a locking mechanism incorporated in it that I have never seen before. The skirt also has four darts on both the front and back (if that helps). The jacket looks as if it is the original length, but the skirt has been shortened at one time.

When do you think this may have been made?

With its boxier cut and the plastic buttons, I would think 60's - also the sleeves look short - are they 3/4? That could be a dead giveaway too. Good luck!
