Gail Brown labels...

hello all,
I recently purchased some vintage. They have labels with the name Gail Brown. A couple other pieces have another name along with it. Does anyone have any information about these labels? I would certainly appreciate the help!

That Gail Brown label is a store not designer label. It was a specialty boutique.

Do you know where I can find some information about the boutique?

I'd google a few different ways. If you have a subscription to one of those newspaper services, you could, I am certain, find ads for the store. I have had a couple things from it over the years and couldn't find much except it was one of the nicer shops but not a department store in Jersey.

Oh, the Jeane Scott piece is probably late 1958s.
