I intended to dabble in vintage clothing along with all the other general categories. I have come to know other categories and what is high end.
Until...
I came across a Galanos Amelia Gray of Beverly Hills dress. James Galanos.
It almost made me cry. I have seen Lalique, Moser glass, Jumeau dolls (I once stood for an hour staring at a Jumeau doll with a complete trousseau in a leather trunk) and now I understand the difference in clothing.
A chiffon emerald green dream dress. It is so feminine and so exquisite it is worlds apart.
Are there others I do not know about yet but am determined to discover? Discovering and the quest is the best part of loving the historical in antiques and vintage.
Please tell me other names that will take my breath away like this. Protecting these masterpieces is so necessary.
