Garment Cut & Style Number

Hi All!

I bought some jeans for myself and was trying to date. What does the style and cut number tell me about a garment and does it help with dating? The lady I purchased them from owns a vintage shop and thought they were 90s. They look like bell bottoms. Jeans are a size 7 made in the USA no other tags besides the size, cut. The brand is Angel Denim. I did a trademark search and found Angel Denim (2005). Thanks for the help.
