Gem Tones
We have all learned to associate certain color palettes with the seasons - soft pastels for Spring, bold and vivid colors for Summer and earthy leaf-tones for Fall. Winter, with its stark and austere landscapes and blankets of white, presents the ideal canvas for the vibrancy of gemtones. Emerald green, Ruby red and Sapphire blue are the three primary hues with which we are most familiar, but how about Smoky Quartz, Amethyst Purple, Citrine Yellow or Spessartite orange? Let’s see how many gemstones we can identify in this weeks parade offerings!
