Most of the Gene Shelly items I have had were from the 1960s.
Hopefully, some other members will come to help out on this one.

I would agree with 1960's, it's in the same boat with all those beaded tops that were imported - many of these labels from Hong Kong tend to have a globe image embroidered on them.

I found a 1964 article with a picture of a Gene Shelly dress described as being from the "Dale Lin" collection.

Any information on this dress?

I was one of Gene Shelly's showroom models in Los Angeles during the 60's. His labels included Dale Lin with Boutique International being his principal label.
