Glass & Beaded Top Aging

This one caught my eye recently. It looks vintage and feels similar to rayon. Any info on popularity of sewing glass onto clothing? It seems pretty unique.

I think Karin is exactly right. I've seen that kind of embroidery used frequently for Asian Indian clothing, as well as clothing made for export during the 60s and 70s, which is when I wore it.

If you do an internet image search using "Indian mirror embroidery" you'll see lots of examples.

Yup, its Shisha work - typical of the Gugerati area of India and neighbouring Pakistan. I don't think its very old - in fact it could be brand new - its still being made.
