Anyone know when the brand Glenhaven was no longer? I found a great Poncho Jacket. Can't find anything resembles it online. Don't have a clue about it's date. It's long with armholes.

Anywho, I just can't find too much info on the bran itself. Or it's labels. So brief info on it's history would be appreciated.

Hello!

I don't know anything about the Glenhaven brand, though I know I've had some pieces with that label. Could you post a pic of the jacket and the label?

Thanks!
I didn't buy it, though it is still there. I do like it. Don't know if it is worth picking up or not. Will go check tomorrow.

Without being able to see the garment or the label I am only guessing that the Glenhaven information I found is about the same company. On the assumption I am following the correct manufacturer, I found an obit (I forgot to note the date) for Mathew Louis Gladstein (b. 1934) noted he "became president of Glenhaven, Ltd., a women's clothing manufacturer that had been started by his father-in-law." That obit lead me to more search results for 'Glenhaven, Ltd." which narrowed the number of relevant hits. Trademark information for Glenhaven Ltd. was found, as below:

Additional results noted Glenhaven, Ltd. manufactured ladies' suits, coats, and skirts and some of the ads I saw for ladies' Glenhaven suits were from the 1950's.
