Glow in the dark . . .

Thought I'd share a few images of one of my latest (and BRIGHTEST) finds. As you can see, the fabric is fluorescent pink with gold metallic yarn running through. You'd be certain to get noticed wearing this. It really does 'glow' in the dark! :)

It's by British label, Polly Peck (by Sybil Zelker) and although there's no fabric content label, it's made from cotton/metallic and a very nice quality fabric it is.

Do you have examples of flourescent vintage clothing in your collection? Did this type of fabric have a popular run during the 60's or 70's I wonder? I've seen lots of flourescent clothing from the 1980's, but let's not go there! If you have any examples you'd like to share, I'd love to see. :)
