This is a thin velvet robe with gold embroidery, has a tie towards the top. I don't know who made it, does not have any labels, anybody know who might have made it or where it was made ?
It may be from Uzbekistan. Robes like this are part of the traditional attire there, for example for weddings. We saw quite a few wedding parties out doing their photos, and if they were traditionally dressed, this was part of the outfit.
