Getting a lot of hits & watchers already--hope it's a good sign! Gold metallic leather Springolators, size 7 - 7.5 M--with 4" heels! Would've kept them myself, but too long for my feet.

No bids yet--should I be worried?

Well, I'm starting to fret over these (link below)--10 watchers, over 100 hits, and no bids with a day to go. I had hopes these would fetch from $40 to $60, and figured with so many views, somebody would want them enough to toss in a bid! Someone has another gold pair starting at $14.99 in almost same size--maybe my price looks too high in comparison? (Though I don't think it is!)

Should I stop obsessing (I try not to, but sometimes can't help myself!) & assume there will be bids tomorow, or lower the price? Though I have enough $$ into them that I can't lower it too much.... Thanks!

I don't think they are overpriced at all - I'm no expert, but they appear to be in great condition. Someone was saying in another thread that things are really slow at eBay. Although 3 months of sparadic selling does not make me an expert, my 50s/60s halter dress sold for $20.50. I had 178 hits (the most I've ever had), but only 2 bids and I was sure it would have sold in at least the $40.00 range based on other similar sales. In fact it was the only item that sold out of 6 I had up for auction.

All to say it's not you or the shoes - many businesses experience feast or famine - perhaps it's the latter right now and you just have to ride it out.

But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that THEY SELL!!!!

Thanks, Deborah! I couldn't imagine they were overpriced, but I am biased toward these shoes! Springolators have tended to be spotty on eBay recently anyway--some, like Linda's, selling over $100 (hers were really special), but I've also seen the gold & silver sell under $20 and over $50! Mine are really in great condition, and are true peeptoe styling, not slides or sandals (and I think the peeptoes are sexier, IMHO!).

As always with eBay, go figure. But I do think overall we're heading into the late spring/summer slowdown, at least I've see that the last 2 years, and this doesn't seem any different.

Oh gosh, I hope not. Those shoes are fantastic and wonderful pics!! Keep your fingers crossed!!

Linda, thanks for the comment on the photos! You should have seen me taking a picture of my foot in these--lucky I didn't break something leaning waaayyy down and waaayyy over to hold the camera even with my foot and take some kind of decent shot! I wasn't a contortionist, but turned into one for this! (Toe shot was easy--just shot down at my foot, then rotated the photo; but that other one was a doozy to shoot!)
