I don't know whether singer and actress Marion Hutton really wore this 1941 dress, but that would certainly be a short-lived fashion, wouldn't it?

Good association, Carrie, as I forgot to note that this came from a January magazine, so we can assume it was a New Year's Eve dress. I would LOVE to find such a thing.
