Good vintage shops in LA

Hi Ladies,

I am going to LA (and possibly San Francisco and Las Vegas) next February. This will be my first time in the United States. I would really love to do some shopping while there, so is there anyone, who can recommend me some cool vintage shops? I am mainly interested in 50s dresses from Hawaii, particularly Alfred Shaheen.

When we were last in LA, we scoured the area's Craigslist and found 2 fantastic if not epic sales. One was an estate sale, the other was just a lady 'cleaning her mom's house." One was in the hills, East of LA and the other was in Pasadena. And we then did the big fleas.
