Gorgeous satin nightgown...is it 30\'s?

I'm having a hard time dating this gorgeous satin gown that I have. The tag says "Plymouth", but I can't seem to find anything about the company. The numbers underneath the name aren't registered in the rn database either. The style appears to be 30's, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

Late '30s to early '40s - I think your tag is from a cleaning company, maybe dry cleaner. It was not uncommon for them to put tags into clothes during the cleaning process.

That seafoam color at the darling bodice. Oh my goodness, yum.

I'm getting more of an early 40s feel about this one. It has to do with the higher waistline and the capped lace sleeve.

I'm with you too now, Mary Jane. My initial thought had been 40s, simply due to the fabrics and materials.
