This is an Oselot Fur l am unsure what to do with this gift my grandfather brought it from South America in the late 40s

Sadly, it's illegal to sell ocelot. Beautiful coat!

Could you post a close up of the fur? Maybe it is a different fur that was printed to imitate ocelot. Something about the fur looks a little too fluffy/ thick for ocelot but it is hard to tell. It is beautiful. Are there any labels?

Close up photo no good but yeah ocelot for sure as granny was disappointed one down from the leopard skin she used to say

It looks more like a stenciled mouton (sheepskin) from the photos. The close up shot is very blurry.
