Great short documentary about Tweed... and Sherlock Holmes.

A lovely short film from the Museum of London, who have commissioned a new Sherlock Holmes inspired tweed for their current exhibition.

Just 15 minutes long, this surprisingly interesting documentary about the process has some great nuggets on tweed history and its changing role in fashion.

That was an excellent film, Ruth! I really enjoyed it. Have you visited the Holmes exhibit yet, or will you be attending soon?

I haven't been to the Holmes exhibition, it's on until April so I will probably go. The Museum of London is a good small museum - I really like it. There is also a Sherlock Holmes museum here, but that's more a tourist attraction than a proper museum I'm told, but still fun.

But talking of exhibitions, I just saw Terror and Wonder: The Gothic Imagination at The British Library - that was great! Mostly about books, and films, but they had a gothic Alexander McQueen outfit on display.
