I first thought this was winter rabbit maybe? it has similarities with Chinchilla but I'm not sure the colouring is strong enough.
The label looks quite modern to me but I wondered if anyone can see any hints in the coat design as to age, it has no other labels but their is this 'frame' logo which to me looks very much as though they forgot to put the text in... I don't know, anyone recognise it?
It has a large hole in the lining about four inches across, I have seen repairs of this size before but do you think it is worth relining or just patch it up. My mum's suggestion was to turn it into hand muffs lol. Her mum had a small fur farm in Romania and looking through the fur resource she said they had mink and nutria amongst others.
