Four Gunnies going up hopefully tomorrow evening. The first one is an early 90s.

The next three are from the early 70s, I believe, because they all have that cream and brown label.

This one is a size 7 but since the bust is made that way, it measures 42 inches.

Thanks for looking!:D

These are all lovely... Every time I see a 70's era gunne, I'm transported back to my high school days. I longed to have one. And more than a few girls showed up to prom wearing one. Thanks for sharing these.

Aw Carol, I wish you had a prom to go to.

I can spot a Gunne a mile away. They are such good quality and launder beautifully.

Wow! You are right! That blouse is just perfect for the skirt!! Nicely done!!

Sigh, I am right with you. When I see Gunnes I am transported right back to high school. Sadly, I went to an all girls high school. Trust me, parents don't ever do that to your kids!! lol Everytime a car full of boys drove by you could practically feel the entire building leaning to one side as 300 girls got up and ran to the windows!! It was a sad, sad site!!

Double sigh

Ahhh, yes, you weren't anyone if you weren't wearing a Gunne to our junior high and high school formals!

I rather liked going to an all girls school --- I never went to school with a boy until college. I wouldn't think twice about sending my own daughter --- in my experience they provide unsurpassed leadership and academic opportunities that help produced well-rounded strong women.
