Gunther Jaeckel suit

I was given a suit in 1969 that was made by Gunther Jaeckel New York from a lady that was a Russian ballerina most likely in the 20's. She was in her 80's when I met her. I am interested to see what this vintage suit is worth. Anyone have any ideas? I can post a picture of it if that will help. Just let me know

I tried to get a picture of it but it's too dark for a good one I will try tomorrow for a better one, but here is what it looks like

Linda, your suit looks like it's 1950s - the VFG label resource has a few words on Gunter Jaeckel if that helps.

Sorry I can't help you with value as I'm not familiar with the designer. I couldn't find any on ebay either, so that could be good (or bad) news as to value.

Thanks the label looks just like that on this suit. The suit is awesome. The skirt is sewn in little sections all around. The workmanship on it is unbelievable. Too bad I am wayyy too big to wear it now. :hysterical:
