Just looking for more information on my gwenda compact can't find a huge amount about them and my design specifically

It's hard for me to tell from the photo, but I wonder if it has a morpho/butterfly wing background.

How charming. It looks like a painted enamel to me. I would say 1930s or 40s. Crinoline ladies were popular then in porcelain and pottery during that time as well.

That is gorgeous. If you google vintage Gwenda enamel (and/or foil) compact you will see many similar examples.
