handbag date?

I was hoping someone could date this handbag for me. There are no markings except a small B on the circle part of the brass hinge where the bag opens and closes.

I'm not an expert in handbags, but it looks 60's to me. Such a good color for spring!!

I have had bags with a "B" on the hinge before, and I seem to think I used to know what that meant, but it is covered by a bunch of brain cobwebs. They were all cute frame style bags. I guess maybe it will come to me in my sleep at 3:00 AM if its back there. Its not an angular "B", but is a bit more curvy, right?
