I'm wishing everyone a very special holiday season and a prayer or candle for a fresh & fabulous 09! It's A good time to remember all we have to be thankful for(cause the list is slim for most)!!
I'm grateful for doing the thing I love most(selling Vintage), & my Mama! & the VFG(of course!) Might sound kind-of Thanksgiving-ishy... But I think it's a great time to get back to basics & be Thankful!!

It's been a tough year for me, like many others, but I am so very grateful for my dearly loved friends who enrich my life every day, my house and its many treasured objects that bring me constant delight, my regained health, and the curiosity that sustains my longtime interests and brings me new ones. I'm so pleased to be a part of a lively online community of fellow travelers in the love of vintage, too.

Happy holidays, everybody! I wish you all a healthy and prosperous New Year. And don't forget to play!

Oh, I love the sock monkey nativity scene and all these beautiful Holiday graphics.

As you know, this has been a very tough year for me and my family. We made it, though, with the help and strength from my friends here on the VFG. I consider myself truly blessed for knowing each and every one of you.

Our day was a good one yesterday. Heard from so many people we love and the grandkids were happy with their presents and so were my children. Maybe I can add a picture later.

Linda, I am thankful you have such wonderful people around you and that you have made it through this very difficult year with such a gracious and strong will. May the coming year become easier as it passes.

I am fairly new to this forum. I am enjoying it so much that I check it several times a day!

I have a collection of miniature shoes - mostly from the Met. Museum, that I want to share with all of you. I display them under my 5' tabletop tree. I've included a photo of the tree and one of some of the shoes. I've been collecting them for years and add a few every year.

I also want to wish everyone Hauoli Makahiki Hou (Happy New Year in Hawaiian.)
