Just a note to wish everyone a peaceful, beautiful Holiday season.

I haven't been around much 'cause my camera lost it's battle with the pc, so I'm not able to list anything til I get a new one (this week!).

I'm a bit upset that I missed out on Christmas sales, but am hoping that lots of vintage-lovers get cold, hard cash to shop with afterwards! :smiliepresent:

Leisa, have a wonderful Christmas!

Hey, how was your trip to New Orleans? Do you have pics? I want to visit N.O. vicariously through you. That is one place in the U.S. that I am going to make it a point to visit again before I die! I loved it there! But my DH lived there for a couple of years way back when, so I don't think he'd mind not going back. But I'm gonna go with or without him!

Christmas sales? Actually, I think the period after Christmas is usually a bit better anyway...at least for me. Hope you like your new camera!

Happy Christmas to you too!

Thanks {y'all}.

Actually the camera should arrive this week. A bit late - but a proxy bid beat out my snipe when I was sure I had it in the bag. :powwows:

So - it will be after christmas sales for me on ebay.

I have an awesome cheongsam with matching jacket, some tailored garments, some Donald Pliner boots for the "now" part... ;-)

I also have some 'modern' jewelry, and a few vintage pieces...and a ton of (okay a few) other things that I can't think of right this minute.

Anne - I never got to NOLA. We had to cancel the trip. But my eBay 'santa' sent me some Cafe du Monde Coffee which was fab!

Hi Leisa!
Merry Christmas. I LOVE NO and after my last trip was pleasantly surprised that my local grocery store carries Cafe du Monde coffee.

Marie

Have a merry Christmas and wonderful New Year Leisa!

I love your {y'all} ~ especially this time of year. My dad's side of the family is near Charlotte NC, Belmont to be exact, and we went there to visit every Christmas. I miss hearing y'all, yonder and other words my Grandma and other relatives would use that were so different than what we heard in the mid-west.
I have such sweet memories of those times~
