i have got a dress that i will be listing on ebay shortly.....

i havent seen this label before.....it is also a bit confusing...

as it says mary harnes... london.....

but yet there is a picture of the iffel ( sp) tower... which is in paris......

has anyone seen or heard of this designer....? as i am trying to find out what the connection is with paris

also do you think its 60's or 70's ? .. i think its 70's but it could be on the cusp......

Is there any other numbers on the tag?

Many designers used the eiffel tower for their labels, gave them a false sense of prestige!

Can't find anything on her tho' just one listed on ebay.:bisou:
 
I would put it in the 70s for sure....what an odd tag, though. Maybe Mary Harnes was a Frenchwoman in London, or she needed to brush up on her geography.

or maybe it was suposed to be london tower and the label maker got it wrong ...lol....
