Has anyone ever seen this tag before?

My husband picked this up thinking it said Coca Cola but it says cola cola and I cant find anythign about this tag. Any info?

Tags look '70s and the WPL number comes back to Varsity Clothes, a New York company. My best guess is that's a fun fake or a mistake.
