Has Anyone Had Any Luck Selling Vintage Children\'s Clothing?

I have six pair of these little green polyester pants for girls. I suppose 70s. 4 pair in a 3T and 2 pair in a 4T.

These are all new with tag, old stock. Would there be any use in trying to list? Maybe wait until Halloween for costumes?? Sell in a lot??

I've never tried selling them myself. I think I personally would be tempted to sell in a lot for costumes?

Love those trousers, wish they were full size!

You are probably right. At least, I didn't take much effort on the pictures and they will be ready to go then.

Oh My Gosh, I WORE plaid bell bottoms like those (mine were brown) when I was 2 or 3! I'm sure I have a photo somewhere of me wearing them!!

I have been able to sell some teen stuff but nothing small like that.
I think waiting till Halloween would be a good idea.

Ack! I looked through the entire box of photos last night and I could not find that darn photo. It's so annoying as I saw it last month when I was sorting through the photos. Typical though when you need it, it's gone!!!:flaming:

The pants remind me of my son's pants in the 70's. Guess he was right in sytle. :D

I have little girls dresses from the 20's that need a little TLC (a good wash, especially)

Not too long ago, I remember someone wanting a girl's dress for some kind of play.

I think costumes or stage plays are mostly why Mother's buy vintage children's clothes.

Hi Ladies ! I have a booth in an antique mall where I put my not so nice stuff (you know the extra crap in the box lot and what not) and it seems every time I put a child's item down there it sells IMMEDIATELY. I've never done poly though but adorable little dresses and courderoy overalls and stuff. I'm not sure if eBay is the right forum for it but suburban antique mall is definitely going well!
