Has anyone heard of this Italian company?

I think this says Iccan??? LOL, when I google I keep getting hits for "wiccan". It says tricot de luxe but I could have sworn this was a blend that included wool because the weave is so tight - do you think Tricot de luxe is nylon???

Haven't found anything yet but did come across a few French knitting sites where Tricot de Luxe
loosely translates into Knitting of Luxury or Luxury Knit so maybe not the Tricot fabric name as we know it?

Agreed: tricot just means knitted, it's likely it's pure wool.

There is an Italian tricot company in Perugia called Longhin. Perhaps this is an earlier incarnation of their work?

The writing on the label looks like it could start with an "I" or a "J", perhaps the "c"s are actually "o"s? The "a" looks undeniable but the last letter I think is a "p" not an "n". I learnt to do "p"s like that in school when I first started to write.

Actually, I thought that looks like a script (cursive) T. I would say TCCAP.

It still didn't do me any good when I googled it, though. :(
