Have questions for the jewelry experts, specifically those with Uranium knowledge.

Ive never found ANY blacklight reactive ANYTHING and was always worried I just wasnt seeing it....until I recently acquired some new brooches and FINALLY realized...WHOA NELLY...there would be NO missing that reaction. I havent had the urge to go to a rave this bad since the 90s lol.

This first one is Juliana style and the first one I saw...and I think theres no mistaking that this one IS uranium glass...its the other two I have questions about.

This next one is Monet and its throwing me a little bc the makers mark looks like early Monet...but the construction looks newer. The stones definitely have that vaseline color..and they are reactive...but because google hates me, I cant find any examples of Monet using vaseline glass. So...are these a different type of reactive glass?

And the last one is this regency brooch. I know its not Uranium Glass bc its not green, so what would the glowing orange be called? Just Black Light Reactive?

Thanks for any help in advance. Im getting back into selling now that my kids are older and thought Id acquire some "easy to research and list" jewelry pieces to "pad" my shop and now A) Ive fallen in love with my pretties and B) Im keep getting stuck in research rabbit holes, lol.

The radiation from black/UV light causes fluorescence in gemstones and glass because of reactions from certain of their constituent elements, some of which include uranium, manganese, lead and, I think, a few others. These elements appear in gemstones, and UV light is used as a diagnostic to identify specific gem species as well as for grading diamonds, some but not all of which fluoresce. When one or more of these reactive elements are used in the manufacture of glass, it fluoresces!

Oh wow, I just adore that green one, no idea with dating I'm afraid, as a rough guess (and it's just a guess due to the style) I'd go with 1950's/60's. Also difficult to tell without seeing the back. I realise you didn't ask for dating help though. So maybe you are clear on dating?

I am confused about the Monet for sure. The mark looks like one of the earlier monet marks but I cant find any other examples of the design.

Ive actually broke down and have some research books on the way bc for some reason online research has become so much more difficult..google needs to get a hold of their algorithm lol. But man...those books are so 'spensive!
