Or I got stupid finding ways not to sell my new Pucci.... I wanna keep it so bad.... And the Traina-Norell is just staying in it place of honor inmy office..... I think Iam losing it.

For some reason I think 60s 60s 50s on these, but yeah, I know what you mean. I added a good 300 or so day dresses to the stock room this summer. Hopefully I don't sound like a broken record on my listings, but when you find a formula that works, well, it's hard to divert much more than just to customize it a touch for the item in question.

Then you have the gals like my GGma who made these at home, using the same patterning formula for 20 years or so......just to throw in a dating wrench.

Well, I can help you with the Pucci. :hiya:

If you don't want to sell it - then DON'T.

Just keep it for as long as it takes. You may change your mind in a month, maybe a year, maybe two years, or not at all. Once you decide to keep it for a bit, then the next time you start thinking of selling it, it will be an easier decision to make.

I very much see 60's with the peach one, so I'm going to agree with the other gals on the others. :hiya:

Jenn, my mom did the same thing with her pants pattern. She made a master pattern in the 70's and used it for every pair! At my dad's there are three closets that contain about 40 pairs of tailored trousers - that are all the same style! As mentioned with mom's other hand-sewn items, they are all PERFECTLY made. Some are nice Pendelton wool, some cotton, some are "nice" poly. But, mom was petite, 5' 1" and weighed 100 lbs when she was bloated. WHO is going to wear all these PANTS???

Plus, they all reek of smoke. :barf:
