A dress came into work this week and was made by Fred Howard, i sure its 50's , pitty it didnt fit me otherwise i would have kept it...lol.. so i am going to sell it at my first ever vintage fashion fair in london in march..

I have been trying to find out about Fred Howard, and cant find anything on the internet... so i was wondering if anyone have come across any of his dresses etc

thanks alleycats and cmpollack,

It will be interesting to see if anyone have heard of him,

The dress came from a valley mining village in wales.... who ever owned this dress must have been a very smart lady, as i have a few other pieces that came out of the same load...

Oh my! LOVE the pink dress, and the first one. Haven't a clue about Fred Howard, sorry. *serious drooling* here!

thank you alleycats and inkepalm,

i have to go and get a few things in work later, so i will take my camera, and take a few more pics today...

when i get things like this in work, amongst all the poo stained and paint coved trs...:barf:( i also get new stuff still with the tags on as well) it really does put a smile on my face.... so i am soooooooooooo glad i turned my hobby of collecting vintge into a recycling business, as i can 'save' and do justice to pieces like these

thank you, i really do appreciate your comments, the last one, the pink nightdress is a cc41 ( sorry its creased, but havent steamed it yet) and it looks as though it has never been worn....

the flower design on the suit is lovely, i think the suit is an alexon on, but my mind is boggled today...lol...
