getting items ready to list for tomorrow on ebay..

i have this 1950's towelling dressing gown which has 2 labels on on the bacl of the collar as normal.. then ithere is another very similar labe on the inner front seam.. but its also says ....a guarenteed karmella...... health garment

health garment ???? any ideas in what they mean.... or did they make other items of clothing which were maybe for hospitals etc .

No but the "health garment' thing is intriguing. I remember some corsets and underthings were labelled medical devices, etc but have never seen a robe mentioned like that.

thanks patentleathershoes......i have never seen this before.....so i thought maybe the robe was some sort of hospital issue....

well its going on the old ebay tonight.....but will try and find out what its means.....as its playing on me now...lol.....

Karnella rings a bell????/.....yeah a hospital issue sounds a but right....the health service was created post war...so probably 50s to 60's
