I bought this Norwegian coat with Rosemailing detail a while back, last year. The women at the thrift swore up and down it was mink, possibly sheared mink, as the woman that donated it brought in an affifavit. Hmmmm? Could it be?????

As always, thanks! Kelly

I was trying to look at the shearling entry in the fur resource, but my computer's too slow for it to load at the moment, and i didn't see anything on sheared mink. I wanted to compare that while i have seen shearling zillions of times i have no clue how close it appears to mink.

That's interesting, i have never heard of anyone sign affidavits when they donated. certificate of authenticity from a plate collectors club or something but that's it.

It sounded like a bunch of hoohaa pesonally, but who knows. No furrier in town, unfortunately.

Thanks
