Anyone heard of them/him?

The only thing I found online was a reference to him(?) on a site that does wedding gowns and formal gowns. Which is appropriate, as this is a wedding gown.

It is a beautifully simple dress. I am guessing early 50's.

It's a little more than I got! At least there's a photo, and description!

I'll keep digging!

Though, I wonder if the dress I have is as old, or older than the one in the photo.

The button loops are of cord, not fabric. Seems a little odd, unless it was war era?

I am not very familiar with fabric rationing during WWII. But then there is a bouquet of fabric roses on the backside. Hrm.
