hello everyone...l\'m lurking again!!
hiya
thanks to my brilliant daughter (14yrs) who found a way online...as you may recall recently my pc died and my nephew cant look at it till xmas hols...GRRRrrr...(it was his and he upgraded it and sold it to me 12 months ago)...so cant really go elsewhere as he (may) have the relevant disks to reboot windows, if it is windows thats corrupted not the pc having died! Phew...
so l have been going online on susannah's pc, (my old one..only 3yrs old), but only to update my site....remotely...long story...no l didnt back up my pc recently...sigh!......and not been able to access emails and ebay and other secure sites....a glitch!
l triedt'other day to organisthe unruly, unreliable elephant that is outlook, but configure it wouldnt...so suze went online and asked a qestion of microsoft..and it told her to try another browser DUH!!!..it hadnt occurred to me or anyone else for that matter....and guess what she downloaded firefox/modzilla and it works...
I can access everyone..no more trips to library.....to pay for half an hour everyday!! lets hope l can save my sales figures from my pc...and then l'll go out and buy a lapto in the sales...
YEAH!!
(just hope that guy with his baseball bat isnt waiting round some corner!).......
