Tagged a size 6 but will not fit my size 2/4 mannequin.

Plastic zipper. I'm guessing 60s. I need help confirming a date. My gut has been way off lately.

What would you call the sequin design and the draping in the front?

Lime green?? Peridot??

Thanks for your help! :adore:

Im not too sure... but all my mike bennets have been 70s... this looks 70s to me also but more early 70s

we shall woon see! :-)

Oh i know mike benet goes back earlier but that label is like mine from the 70s and the colors too.... but could be very late 60s but I still see more early 70s :-) bautiful either way..

I think of a Mermaid when I see this! :-)

Photography help needed! The peridot sequins actually match the peridot chiffon on the bottom. For some reason the bottom keeps turning out more of a seafoam color in the photos. Any photography tips for me??

Thanks for all your help!

An amazing group of ladies here! As always, thank you so very much!

This also looks late 60's/early 70's to me. I would call the draping something like "cascading chiffon side panels" and be sure to mention the dress as "statuesque" which is my favorite descritive word for long goddess-like dresses such as this. Peridot on the bodice but the skirt does appear minty in the photos. Does the whole dress actually take on warm green tones like the appearace of the bodice in the photos or does it take on the minty appearance of the skirting?

I would take photos in natural light without the flash AND in artificial light with the flash and see which comes out to be the best representation of the acutal color. You might need to adjust the contrast and saturation settings a bit in your editing program.

Gorgeous dress by the way!!

Amber - love the statuesque term! The dress is a lovely peridot green and in person resembles the warm tones of the top. I'm praying to be able to invest in backdrops and lighting soon. Thanks for all your help!
