Hi, I am wondering if someone could help me date this bag. It has a serial number 2924. I am guessing late 40s - 60s? I also replaced the chain with a snake chain.
I think the bag is 1950's - the new snake chain threw me off until I read that you'd replaced it. I have this one in goldtone mesh that I believe is early 1950's in my closet! Same purse with a different closure (and chain.)
