Hey everyone,
1980s? I'm taking that from the sleeve /shoulder puffy gathering?
Also, is this a raglan sleeve, it's not quite typical in my limited raglan experience.
Thanks for any help.
Lauren

I've seen quite a few Hourihan pieces and they are nearly always 70's - really nice clothes.

Is that not technically a batwing sleeve? it goes all the way down to the waist at the back.

I know this doesn't narrow it down but the lack of a tumble dry symbol makes it pre: 1985-7

A BBC programme I just watched from 1976 showed a knitted jumper with a very similar shape, the sleeve went all the way down into a fitted waist.

I have called that kind of sleeve "bat wing." If bats have negative connotations, maybe it could just be called a winged sleeve. Lovely coat.

thanks everyone...wish it fit me. The nice thing about that sleeve is it really gives you room inside but still maintains a sort of stream line look.
