help dating (1980s? or 1990s?) Epiderme Paris leather fringe motorcycle (?) jacket

Hi all,
I'm thinking 80s but wonder if it could be later. Also, the 'inset' leather roses on the shoulder area are underneath the black suede and the leather strips going across the underlying leather are not glued or stitched down....is there a term for this sort of leather work?

Sorry - I am zero help. I kind of get an early 90s vibe from it but it seems like 80s could work too.

I wonder if @Jonathan might have some thoughts.
