Help dating a beaded evening hand bag please?

Hi there,
the bag is excellent quality and quite heavy - there is a label stating it was made for department store Rackhams which is now house of fraser (in the UK). Any ideas on age? I thought 1950s but am now thinking maybe earlier?

Cute handbag! The aurora borealis chrystals put this as no earlier than the late '50s but it could go into the '60s.
