Help dating a beaded vest , 1920s? 1960s?

Hi all,

I have this beaded flapper style vest and I’m having difficulty dating the piece. What do you guys think ? I included pictures of the beading up close, the inside lining which has the hand stitches showing through from the beading, as well as it on.

This is a bit of a puzzler. I can see why you thought maybe 1920s, but the garment isn't "right" for the 20s, unless mayyyyybe someone took a 1920s dress, shortened it, added a lining sometime around the 60s or later and left it open in front to be worn as a vest. I am not sure though. Does it seem like silk crepe? Is it heavy? What are the placket edges like? How about the inside seams?
