Help dating a Christian Dior London dress!

Hi everyone!
A friend of mine gave me this dress to sell for her. I attached photos so you can see the dress & labels. I looked on the Label Resource here on VFG, but I can't seem to figure out what year it is from. I don't know anything about Dior gowns, so I have no idea of the value. I would love to sell it for her, but I dont know where to begin! I am wondering if anyone can tell me an approximate year it was made and a possible value? The zipper pull says, OPTI, not sure if the helps or not. Thank you so much! Aurora

Here's what I can tell you... Dior London was around 1952 to 1975 and Jorn Langberg was the director 1965-75, which is the time frame in which your dress was made. Opti is/was a German company (I believe), hope that helps to get you started.

Hmm, we don't seem to have that label in the LR.

I agree with a '70s date for this one. You can see that it's a quality fabric and quite well made, which you'd expect of this label at this time. Aurora, as per the forum rules we can't value the item for you but you can try searching closed auctions on ebay and see if see something similar.
