Hello! I’m very much new to buying vintage fashion and got my first piece today at a local thrift shop. The shopkeeper told me that this dress in particular was vintage, possibly from the 70s or 80s. I’m honestly no expert so I decided to post it here to see what information I could get on it! It has a polyester slip dress inside that is not attached to the lace overdress (but it is definitely a set, since it has matching labels and the same colors). The overdress is fully made out of lace with shoulder pads and big buttons (some are missing unfortunately). It was waist ties in the back. Please help! I’m very interested in knowing to when this dress dates back to.

Yep, vintage. I believe it’s 80’s, shoulder pads were big at that time. You see shoulder pads, think 80’s. See “Dallas” show as that’s where it got it’s start. I never cared for those shoulder pads, as why would a woman want to look like a linebacker in my opinion but that’s just me. I am sure many woman loved it.

Thanks guys! I assumed it was a 1980's piece right off the bat when I first saw it but it's good to have some confirmation about that and some information of the company that produced it (since I couldn't really find much information about it)
