help dating a hand sewn velvet dress

70s maybe? but it has a very thin metal zipper I would usually associate with older. It's very heavy, fully lined. The bodice is a sort of yarn feeling crochet/embroidery. I included pics of the inside seams of the lining and the outer layer

Maltby it's hard to see the outline when it's so much bigger than the mannequin. Can you lay it out on the floor (do this on a sheet if you have carpet :) ) and photograph the whole dress please?

It has elements of 70s (the high neck, lace front) and 80s (scallop neckline, princess seaming) for me and looks like a quality home sew or seamstress sewn dress. It strikes me that it might have been a special outfit for an older woman, and so might be a little old fashioned for when it was made, catering to her familar style in fashion.
Can you show the zip head also please?
