Help dating a manicure set please?

I've got this on my make up table and just love it~ wondering about when it was "new"

The remover is still fluid in the bottle and the back of the label says: "Contains no Acetone" - The little tins of nail white are almost full, and I've never heard of "powder polish" - the back of that tin says to twist the top, sift out some powder into your hand or a buffer and pass nails quickly across powdered surface -
You can't see it in this pic but the bottle tops have pointed oval nail shapes in them so you can grip the lid more easily~

Thanks for any light you can shed on this!

All of the Lady Lillian manicure set ads I found date between 1934-1937. Based upon the Deco look of yours and the description of the 1934 set below, I think yours is closer to 1934 than 1937:

modernistic boxes of bakelite, in green and
black. Each set contains polish, oil polish
remover, nail white, orange sticks and
cotton. 50 cents.

That is such a cool set! I love the round green tin.

Powder polish is hard to explain, but it sort of acts like sandpaper, helping to smooth the "graininess" of the nail surface. It can put a natural shine to your nails, which wears away pretty quickly with time, from doing dishes, etc. "Polishes out the dents", sort of, but not very well. (Gee that's helpful, no?)
