Help dating a maribou bedroom jacket?

Can anyone help me date this thing? I am SO desperate to get this sucker out of my house (it wants to put pink maribou all over everything I own ) but I'm just not quite sure when it's from...

It has hook and large silver eye closures, a satin lining and the marabou is actually arranged in rows...

Any ideas? I appreciate it as always...

Those are so hard to date. Does it have a label and what does the lining look like?

AHhh unfortunately no label and the lining is IMMACULATE pink satin. That satin looks older to me though - possibly 40s or 50s although the hook and eyes look newer - granted they could have been replaced at some time.

You might check Specialist Auctions. It looks like there is a black one over there that is dated to the 40s.
