help dating a traditional/costume dress

Hi- anyone have any ideas of the date or info about this dress? it has a nylon side zip. I picked it up because I like the detail of the beads and sequins at beads at the shoulders and cuffs and the skirt net/mesh overlayer looks neat to me. I don't know anything about its origins or for what/whom it would have been made. ugh sorry they are sideways!!

It looks like a piece from India...don't know quite how to date it though, seems more modern and not traditional. I can't help but think of "Bollywood" when I look at it. It might likely have been made to be worn with slim fitting silk pants underneath.

I agree it's of traditional Indian design but the illusion mesh panel bodice has been in fashion the last few years so I think it's modern. Can you show the zip?

I was thinking the same - Indian, and probably to be worn with slim pants underneath.

Agreed, it looks more modern. With the pants these are sometimes called Salwar Kameez, if you google you can see lots of examples.
